Hi all,

Just need your expert opinions can I mix hermit crabs with pistol shrimps, crabs, and clown fishes in a tank?

Currently my clowns, pistol shrimps and crabs have been doing pretty well just want to add some hermits to do the cleaning.

Helps will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have a pistol shrimp and clowns, I don't have crabs, but as long as the crabs are algae eaters and not predatory crabs you should be perfectly fine.

I have different types of hermits I have crab ,shrimp and lobster and clowns. I`ve never had a problem

Most hermits you get are ppretty small and they have that shell to protect them so they should be fine.

If you got a big hermit you'd know, a lot get the size of a baseball or bigger and change shells all the time.
