Is there any hermit crab or snail or any invert that will eat that cynobacteria (red slime algae)? TIA

I believe it is said that blue legged hermits eat cyano...
I had a recent outbreak of cyano and tried to get hold of a bunch of these guys to help, however my lfs couldn't get any so I have resorted to the more traditional 'suck, syphon' and reduced temp tank temp and it seems to be working!!!

Blue legs and cerith snails are supposed to eat it. Mine turn their noses up at it...won't touch it at all. The siphon method along with whatever measures are needed to reduce the nutrient content in the water usually will take care of cyano.
