Hermits Molts

When I find a hermit has molted should I remove the molt, or should I just let either the hermits or my serpent star to finish it off

Leave the molt in the tank. It's a source of nutrients for your cleanup crew.

Indeed. Leave the molt. It'll provide a good source of nutrients to your tank. It also helps with the growth of a new exoskeleton for the hermits.
