Put my new fire shrimp in my tank on Sunday and he just seems to hide under my live rock.

Is this normal ? And is he likely to come out more as he gets used to the tank?

Thanks

Yes, it's normal. Most of them hide most of the time. No, he's not more likely to come out once he's used to the tank. Only to eat IME.
That's why skunk cleaners are so popular- they are more social.

Mine is in my frag tank where it's a lot calmer. He comes out and dances when I drop his favorite shrimp pellets in. Otherwise he is in his cave.

Yeh that's basically what he does now. Comes out for feeding then goes back behind the live rock.
