High Mg level

I was just wondering is there an amount of Magnesium that is to high? I am using reef crystals salt mix and I am testing with red sea test kit. My current readings have been 1700-1800. And no I am not dosing Mg. Just wondering if I should be worried

People raise their mag to 1600 to kill off bryopsis without Ill effects. I wouldn't worry about it. I'm thinking the test kit is inaccurate.

Are you sure you are reading the syringe right? lol Do not read where the coloured solution is at, make sure you read where the rubber of the plunger is ;P

Yep that's what I do. A couple times I got a complete syringe in before it started changing color.
