Hi...all
Just a quick question, I noticed today before doing my partial water change, while doing my weekly parameter testing that my ph was 8.4 or 8.6. As this has absolutely never happened to me before, I wondered why it would be at such a high range. I have a 28 gallon tank, that I do partial water changes on every week, usually 5 or 6 gallons. This is a fairly new tank I started the first week of June, all the same live rock and animals from my older 8 gallon tank were switched to this one after it cycled. After the partial water change today, (6 gallons) it went back to normal which was 8.2
can anyone tell me why it would go up like that?
What would be the cause of high ph?
I tried looking on google but nothing much came up.
I think I understand the cause of low ph but not high ph....
