What should I use for bait? And would this work for the trap?

Maybe put the top you cut off in that piece to make a funnel type. That would keep him from crawling out

That should work. Do you have any silversides? I wouldn't put the top in. I'd leave it just like that

If I put the top back on he wouldnt be able to fit in there. He is too big. And no all I have is formula one marine pellet and mysis shrimp. Would that work?

Attempt #1 was a fail. All the bait was gone with no crab in sight. Im thinking i had the bottle not tilted enough. will give it another go tonight
