Check out Melevs reef.com great info on sump builds. Some tips on flood prevention to if done right it will never flood.

Can anyone recommend a good but not mega expensive 5000ltr return pump that is available in the uk?

Yea I was looking at the eheim compact +5000 not a cheap pump but a good name. £109 cheapest I can find them.

Yeah I just ordered the 5000 last week (arrives today) along with the 2000. I already run one of the 2000 on my DT skimmer and it is very quiet and performs well.
