Ok here we go got my hands on this tank and I have visions of and awesome reef with some small fish. I think im gonna build a custom stand so I can fit a proper sump underneath. Im gonna drill the tank. ( wish me luck). Also gonna try to build a sick seacape. Was gonna use this plastic hvac grill as base under the sand and to hold some live rock together(hidden of course). Been making drawings of cool seacapes, just not sure how long I have too put it together with cured live rock before too much die off will happen. Any info /suggestions will be appreciated. This is only my second salt water tank. My first is a year old and doing well except for a ich issue.

Elso makes a sump that will fit perfectly inside that stand. I believe it's about 15 gallons.

The hole drilling was a success! Also painted the stand and re siliconed tank.

Update! Started the DIY sump and bought the coralife super skimmer 65. It's pretty sweet. I don't need bio balls if I'm doing a refugium?

DIY sump refugium works well and don't leak any where. It's a slow project but it's moving along.
