hospital and qt tanks

i was thinking
could a clear tub be used for a hospital and/or qt tank

think of it a 20-30 gallon tub for 4-8$

I have a 30g rubbermaid set up right now, it's almost done cycling. I have used it before to QT fish but I can use for fish or corals since I haven't used copper in it. I have a 20g that I have used copper in, that is strictly fish only. I saved some serouis money the 2nd time around. Worked justed as well, though to observe fish you gotta stop the filter and look from the top to get a good look, only downside.
