hosting clown to anemone

does any1 knows how i can host the clown to the anemone? ive had them together in my tank now for about a week and my clown goes nowhere near it, it has actually made a whole on the sand and thats where he likes to be rubbing himself

some guys have told me i have to have them seperated in a small tank, my lfs just told me to put them both in my tank and they will do it alone
