Why do you want to bring it up. What kind of fish do you have.

I'm guessing this was accidentally put in the wrong forum. With 7.8 being low, I would assume we're talking about a saltwater tank, right?

Sorry I'm not a salt guy. Only thing I can think of is Buffers and crushed coral.
I'm very limited there. Others will chime in and give you a solid answer.

They will probably move this post over to Saltwater.

7.8 is really not that bad. Higher is better but stable is better. Do me a favor and test it about an hour before the lights go out. That`s the ideal time to test.
