Hi I wanted to get a mandarin Dragonet and I heard they only eat copepods, so how can I tell if i have them!

Thanks

Ti sustain a mandarin you need a very established tank with ALOT and I mean ALOT of pods. Lots of live rock and a refugium are good ways to increase your pod population.

You should see little white lice or bug type creatures on your glass and live rock.

How big is your tank and how much live rock do you have? How long has it been set up for?

I have a 40 gallon breeder aquarium. I do not know how much rock I do not think this will help but I have about 34 peaces of live rock. It has been set up for about 2 years and a half.

You shoulod have some pods then unless the fish you have currently are eating them. lol Your tank is aged enough its just do you have eneugh of a population to feed one. Do you have a tank shot with the amount of rock?
