i have been doing salt water for a few years now. i have always had just the basic test like nitrate, nitrite and ammonia. i recently purchased both the api saltwater master kit and the master reef kit. i read through there instructions. did all the tests and i did read what there recommended amounts were but i am looking to see what you guys think they are as follows
ammonia - 0
nitrite - 0
nitrate - 0-5 (usually 0)
ph - 8.2
phosphate - 0
calcium - 440
dkh - 7
from what i can see everything seems normal. except dkh. it seems low. the tank has an assortment of softies and SPS corals. its a 30 gal. i use instant ocean salt. i dont currently dose anything.
