what eats these pesky lil stars before they kill my corals

went to pluck a few out and there tenticals are about 2 inch long wrapping around everything

will a harlequin eat these things

Those don't sound like asterea, I have tons, no tentacles , never hurt anything

Agreed... As annoying as they can get they dont have tentacles and are harmless...

Here's a couple about 3/4 of the way up, a couple inches apart.

Tentacles? You sure they're not just little brittle stars? Because they're harmless and a good addition to your clean up crew. If they're the little white/gray starfish, they're bad. Either way a harlequin will eat them. But that is all harlequins eat so you'll have to provide future starfish for the shrimp to eat

no these have tenticls there fast too tryed grabbing one with the tweezers and it took off fast

i'll try to get a pict

I got a pict not very clear but I highlighted the star and tentical
theres one on each leg but this one was really detailed in pict

I see the asterina star, but that tentacle is crazy!! It's just WAY out of proportion for that star body. Are you certain that tentacle is coming from that star, and not something else within the rock or coral behind it? I've never seen an asterina star that looks like that. Really weird.
