How do you know when you have a good corraline growth?

Just wondering, how can you tell if you have a good coralline growth and what are the first couple of stages of it? TIA......

Not sure if I fully understand what you are asking, but I'll try.

IME, coraline started growing on my equipment first. Like my powerheads and HOB. Then it was on the glass. Coraline may also start as a white or green patch before it gains it's purple/red color.

There are a few keys to good coraline growth. The first is good water quality, the second is proper KH or alkalinity(I keep mine around 7 dkh, and the third is a good calcium level (around 400 ppm). From my experience, it doesn't need anything special for lighting. Hope this helps.
