How long can my pump be off?

I have a 225FOWLR with only a cleanup crew in it right now. I am running 3 maxijet 1200s in it and a 1140gph return pump. I want to add another pump so I need to drillmy sump for a bulkhead. Will my tank be ok if it is off for 24 hours as long as I keep my powerheads running. I have one extra bulkead but I plan on using that for a refugium so I would like to do this now before I have fish. It will only take maybe 30 minutes to add the bulkhead but I want to make sure the glue I use is completely cured before turning it back on.

With just a "crew" in the tank you could leave the main return pump off for quite awhile, weeks in fact. As long as there is some surface movement and lower circulation it's all good.
