How LONG DO I KEEP FISH IN QT TANK?

Hey, got a clown and yellow-eyed tang wit ICH in ma QT tank with COPPER. I was wondering how if anyone knows how long i should keep them in for. They have been in 1 day so far.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

4 weeks, minimum.

Yes, copper is only toxic to ick in it's free swimming form, so it has to be maintained until you are sure the life cycle has been broken.

At theraputic levels (levels high enough to kill ick) copper is stressful on the fish, higher than theraputic levels can be toxic to the fish...yes. That is why hyposalinity is recommended, it is less stressful and not toxic at all.
