How long for quarantine

With me having learned the hard way that I need to quarantine everything... What is a reasonable amount of time to keep things in quarantine? Should I keep inverts in for a shorter time than fish? What about corals?

Fish 4 to 6 weeks
Corals you dip and look under a scope
The other I don't think you have to.
