How long phosguard lasts

How much phosguard do you guys run in a reactor? And how long does it usually last. I am still battling hair algea!!! Do you prefer other phosphate reducers?

Ha ha. I have a big one! He eats so good he wont touch it. Hence the problem I think!

I use phosguard and change it out about every 4 months.

Sounds like you are over feeding that's why you have phosphate problem

How much phosguard to run depends on how much your total water is. I believe 1 cup is good for 75gal.
