How many T5's for a 4ft reef tank

Hi I'm currently running 4t5s white lights on on my 4ft tank? Is this enough?

It would be enough for soft coral and some of the easier, less light demanding LPS.

Depending on the width of the tank I'd get an 8 bulb setup.

I run 2 t5ho purp plus coral plus 54w and a couple exotic blu led strips ( just for blue color , i think) on my 55g and I have acans , scollys , goni , hammers, frogspawns etc

I run a 4x54W on my 75. I keep all types of corals in there. Just have an understanding of light requirements for the different coral types and place them accordingly.
Have plates, frogspawn, chalice, LTA, zoas, favia, acan, Duncan. I guess a lot of lower light corals but the LTA found his home at the bottom of the tank in a cave and comes out the end when the lights are on. He has been doing great for the last 3 months. See pic. He was really bleached when I got him but has colored up well.

I run an 8 bulb t5 on my 75 gallon. But I agree it depends on what you want to keep as far as corals. I use 4 whites and 4 blues.
