How much light does chaeto need?

I recently got a small ball of chaeto from my lfs. I bought a clear soap holder and put it in my display tank, I have my canister return pointing directly at it so its getting a lot of flow. It isn't tumbling however... Also, it's not under direct light, I have 120w LED fixture... Will it be okay in that area? Thanks!!

Chaeto needs a low flow and a 5600k lamp.

I have mine almost in the same spot and has tripled in size in the last month .

Does yours get a lot of flow? Cause mine is getting A LOT of flow. Idk if its getting enough light tho

Its needs flow light and phosphate and nitrate and it will grow like crazy...Something I noticed in mine was when it was in my display under two 150 w metal halides it did not grow at all .. but when I added a sump and put it under a cheap 6700k flood lamp from home depot it has gone crazy I prune it once a month it gets about 6 inches thick by 1 foot square ..and I prune it to the size of a baseball..

Where mine is kept there is medium flow due to the aqua scape .

Well mine is getting a lot of flow, should I change its position?

Try giving it more light , that was my initial problem not flow.
