How to add in Live Sand

Is their any particular way to add in the live sand. The water that comes in the bag, do you put that in the tank too? I would assume so becuase you would lose some of the stuff that makes it live sand if you didnt. Thanks guys!

Yes, I would add the water too, although I wouldn't be happy about it You want to lower the bag in the water and slowly spread the sand out as it leaves the bag.
