How to affix my new christmas gift?

My husband bought me a tubinara coral which is very thin. I tried to attach it with underwater epoxy but the coral is too thin for it to hold. (If it was bottom heavy it might work) Right now I have him propped up against the side of the tank. Any ideas would be appreciated! Merry Christmas!

Use superglue gel

Do I need to take the coral out quickly to put on the glue? I am assuming that I do. Can I place it in the water right away, or does it need a few seconds to harden? 8O

Yes, either the coral or the rock (preferrably both, but not necessary) and pat dry with a papertowel. I use it immediately. Then hold it together for about a minute.
