How to keep sand clean around glass?

Hi everyone. I see pictures of your sw tanks and always wonder how you manage to keep the sand so clean looking around the front of your aquariums. I have whitish kind of sand and I don't find it esthetically good looking. It's dirty and it has some bubbles all along the glass. How do you do that?

Excessive cleaning as long as you are patient and consistant, your sand will remain clean

I razor scrape like every week or two. It's a pain but I hate the algae line that grows there. lol
