How to kill this off My Hammer Coral?

With time the hammer will grow and leave the barnacle where it is on the skeleton of the coral. You could risk damaging the coral if you try to remove it. That is what I would do anyway, it kinda looks neat.
 
Never mind I just looked up what a barnacle looks like and they do look similar. I think it's really cool looking!

It's harmless but the constant opening and closing is making my hammer think something is on it.
 
In the video the coral looks fine, but if it's truly bothering it, take the coral out of the tank and dip it. You could try coral rx.
