How to remove coraline from overflows?

I have a 125gal that I had a reef set up in.. I am converting to FW.. cleaning up tank.. Does anyone know how to get the coralline off the overflows? It came off the glass easily.. but not the overflows.

Vinegar works the best, it breaks it down and makes it extremely soft and comes off with a toothbrush. I assume the overflow is siliconed in though?

standard 125 reef ready with corner overflows siliconed in. Vinagar should be no problem with silicone.

Well by asking if it was siliconed I was just going to say that it'll be harder to have the area covered in vinegar. The more you don't dilute the vinegar, the faster it works
