Humidity/electric concerns...

I have a Deep Blue Series 1 stand, with a 20 gallon sump in it for my 40 breeder. These stands only have 4 - 2" holes drilled in the back to have pipes or cords routed through. The rest is closed off. A lot of humidity is
being produced due to lack of ventilation. Should I locate my electrical power cords to outside the tank on the wall behind it? Thanks...
