Humongous pods! (amphipods)

Latey I have noticed some humongo-pods scurrying around... the biggest ones are about a half an inch long. (maybe more if you leveled out the hunch in his back).

Anyone else see monster pods?

I think mine are pods although I would like to have mysis shrimp too.

and here are my big amphipods (they look like this.. the hunched up looking guys)

I saw one the other night I swear was 3/4 inch long. Pretty soon they will be moving my rocks around. hehe

I have a huge amphipod that's 3/4" hunched over, & a bunch that are only mms in length. They scurry around one rock in particular. Used to see huge ones (2") on fuchus vesiculosis (seaweed) while in Maine.
