Hydrometer

I broke my hydrometer last week and finally got another today. Its one of the glass ones that bob in the tank. I put it in fresh water to see if it was accurate and it read 1.000 is this mean it is accurate? How accurate are the glass ones?

Should have saved yourself the trouble and got a refractometer..well worth it especially if your keeping corals its a must

Im gonna get one eventually. Do you think that the one I have is somewhat accurate?

Thanks for the link. I will probably end up getting that one ,but dose anyone know how much these glass ones can be off? The one I just bought is reading .005 lower than I thought it was and zoas are fine?
