I bleached my coral.....help please.

I purchased a Hammer, Frogspawn and Torch coral. I have 3watt Led's and they turned white. I moved them down to the sand bed. The polyps still extend and all. Will they ever regain their color? Or is it best to get new ones....

ya they should. Moving them down is the right thing to do and if you can turn down your lights you may want to do that. If the polyps still come out it's alive, if it dies you'll see the flesh fall off and thats when I'd consider them dead.

Im still trying to figure my bleaching out. I would lean more towards bad KH then lighting.

When you introduce new corals to a system with LEDs it's best to start the low in the tank and slowly work them closer. Unless they were under LEDs before you purchased them. They have to be acclimated to the lights

Yea I just learned that the hard way lol.

Don't feel bad it happens. I was told about doing it before I got my LEDs or it would have happened to me also.
