I just found a live worm ???

Hi guys I just found a live worm inside my saltwater external filter

I have live rock in my filter

What is it and where did come from

you will find all kinds of critters in a marine tank. I have snails, worms, crabs in my filter as well. none of which i intentionally introduced to the tank. They come with the rocks.

That's possibly the best part of this hobby. The diversity if life that appears is astounding! So far I had encountered tubeworms, mussels, starfish, 3 kinds of sponges, some unidentified corals, worms, and a few other things I can't identify.

And you definitely will lol. Some people find new things even YEARS after they started their tank. Saltwater is the best.
