.......Some sure fire ways to remove some crabs from my tank. I would like to trap in some fashion as opposed to removing any rocks. Why you ask? because they seem to like the largest and lowest in the pile to hide in. I have about 4 that I know of and see everyday. They were all hitchhikers on my LR and in hind-sight should have been removed at that time. live and learn. Any and all suggestions are welcomed.

TIA

Mike

Crabs are generally very poor swimmers so you will not need an elaborate trap. A tall drinking glass or cylinder will do. Simpley add the glass after light out and lean it against a rock so the mouth is accessible but still upright. Bait the glass bottom with a few sinking pellets or weighty food items. By morning you should catch one or two.
