Hey guys!

I was just wondering if my test kit could be wrong? I have always got the level to be around .15 I wud say and that is from my tank! But no mater how much water changes I do it doesn't go down! I checked my RO/DI water the other day and it read the same (.15) so then I bought distiller water and that also read the same! I need to know because two of my fish have died in a week! All my other parameters are
Ph: 8.3 ish
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10-15

I hate when my fish die and don't want any more casualties

Any help is well appreciated

I would invest in a new kit..there is no way distilled water should have a reading of anything but 0...Not sure why your fish are dying though

If in doubt take the water to a store and most of them will test it for free. See if their results match what your kits are showing.

Ok thanks guys! I bought my own RO/DI unot and it's not even six months old and I get a TDS reading of 0 or 1 ppm when I run it
