Do you have a backup in mind?
I've still got my 12w compact florescent lights but I've returned my stunner strips
I'm just going to wait it out before I buy another fixture since I might be upgrading and I don't want have to return a fixture that's too short. Bummer since I was going to pick up some corals from Mr Coral this weekend. Here's the link http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...224&cmd=VIDESC

Looked like a good light from the description, especially with all those leds'. But they didnt post the wattage for each so that's kinda a warning sign.

Good luck, theres tons of other good lights out there, just have to find em lol

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

Yep. I've heard great things about these http://www.aquatraders.com/LED-Reef-Bright-p/56212.htm So I may just go with that or a par38 bulb. But first I need to find a tank. Im thinking of this http://www.google.com/m/products/det...62066040725267 or http://www.google.com/m/products/det...91417021703506

I'm liking the bow one, the column is gonna need good lights and it's kinda limiting, unless you want seahorses. I was looking at that exact tank in petco and considered seahorses for it. lol But their creepiness won out, so I passed. LOL

Year I tried the stunner strips to they were useless picked up the 1 watt marineland reef capable Lights !!! I tried a ton of them before. I purchased these and none are equal the radion is awsome but price and fan was a issue I will never put a fan on my tank ever again no matter what don't forget it's not fluorescents LEDs don't spread so no matter how much u spend u need multiple units 1 light will not cut it!! Even with the radion !!!

Well I've decided to go with the bookshelf aquarium which is 24"x9.5""x9" because of its space for swimming room. It's only 6g so it's height suffers because of it's width but atleast it'll give fish more swim room. I've also ordered at 48w T5HO fixture so that'll be enough for SPS. http://www.aquatraders.com/24-inch-2...re-p/52121.htm

I think a 2 bulb t5 trying to support sps would be a stretch at best.

I mean it's a 9.5" tank. I don't see how the par won't reach it.
