Internal refugium

Has anyone ever done one like sectioned off a bit of there tank and used it as a refugium I'm thinking about doing it on my tank since I can't run a sump

I've seen it before but can't really say I thought it was a good idea. It'll function however I think it looks crappy and takes away quite a bit of space from your DT
 
I liked the look of one I saw someone on another forum had they had frag plug holder in the wall I was thinking of doing it to grow pods to eventually maybe get a manderine
 
A lot of folks who don't drill their tanks section off the tank (from the back to front) to create a sump/refugium in their DT. It's essentially like a biocube etc. The depth of the back refugium is up to you.
