Is there anyone out there with expirience in introducing a mandarin dragonette to another one of the opposite sex?

This is going to be hard to answer. I personally dont even know how to tell what sex they are. Maybe someone will be able to answer but I dont think it will be many. Sorry.

I believe you can sex them by the dorsal fin. I had my choice of a male or female when i got mine and you could see the distinct difference. But other than that i have no idea.
I have my hands full with just one mandarin LOL Can't imagine having two to worry about

Yeah I heard that about the males, but the long spiked fin doesn't start to grow out until it's an adult, correct? That's why it's hard for some to sex. I've had my male for 6 months now and my pod population is quite out of control. And by out of control i mean hundreds if not thousands on just the glass alone daily. I recently added my sump and some cheato so I can see the population growing stronger. This is why I feel confident that my reef could support two. I've tried looking up information on this but have seen mixed reviews. I know the possability for aggression still exists I just want to know if anyone here has had success. My tank is completely non-aggressive now since the removal of the clowns and nothing else has the same diet.

Well it looks like I'm going to try it. I'll be on the lookout for a fat female...don't hear that too often...I'll make sure and document everything and post it on YouTube.

One will be bigger then the other. And yes one will have a spiky pointed dorsal fin. I have a pair I. My tank now for almost a year. However something has been torch erring the female. The tail is messed up.
