I just bought some coral and a emrald crab about the size of a dime or less poped out of it. Should I just leave the thing their, I cant find it now. I plan on having a nice coral setup.

I had an emerald crab in with my corals and I have never had a problem at all. I think their pretty much reef compatible.

thanks, right now it is so small and it will probly take a year or 2 to get it to 1 inch.

I`ve never had any problem with mine. They are good for eating bubble algea. As with anything there are always exceptions to the rule. Keep one eye open.

i have four, one that size just hichhiked on my coral.

the largest one i have is about 1.5-2"....they can knock things over so make sure you glue or epoxy your frags down.

they also eat lots of cynobacteria aka slime algae.

they are fun to watch

I had one and he killed my big yellow leather. A darn $5 crab ate a $40 meal! I put him in "prison" for awhile then when i put him back in the main tank, he started munching on my GSP so i just exiled him :D
