I dont have a good picture yet, anemone's cant really be persuaded to pose for a camera,

But I noticed one of the tenticles on my purple condy is forked, or should I say that it splits in two. I have noticed this only on one tenticle.

Just wondering if this sounds like lateral fission or if some anemone's just have forked tenticles.

This picture does not show the fork, but its the only one I got.

splitting in captivity is fairly common with the bulb tip anemone. This process will start at the mouth and split down to the foot. the tenticles themselves do not split. I have not heard of this happening in condys and, honestly, am not sure how they reproduce.

Well this is my first anemone. It might not be splitting, but one of his tentacles is forked.
