Is my ricorea splitting?

Looks like it is "expanding" on the right side, almost another layer forming outwards...

Doesn't look to be splitting to me, I only see one mouth and I don't see the distinctive "ring" of a split. I had a ric split recently I'll see if I have a couple pics to illustrate what I mean.

Not the best pic but you can see how the outer color is starting to split and head in towards the multiple mouths.
