Just set up a 10g fuge on a 180 one week ago.
Substate is Aragonite and Mineral Mud, few small live rock and caulerpa and cheato. 2 x 65 watt lamps (Home Depot)on 24/7
Algae is now covering the glass along with lots of bubbles. Bubbles are also on the LR. Caulerpa is turning brown in some spots. Cheato is looking good.
Is this normal?

That's a lot of light for a 10g fuge. I'd try cleaning the fuge up and only running one of the bulbs for a while. I'm going to guess you have the 6500k LOA bulbs? Another point is that micro algae just loves a new environment. Keep the fuge cleaned out and the nutrient levels in the water down...you'll eventually win the algae battle.
