Looks like Halimeda. It's actually good to have. Personally I wouldn't get rid of it. But you can just pull it right of the rock if you wish. I'll pay for shipping if you want to send it to me

i donno i'f i'd say its good to have, its definatly not bad. why i would say its not good is there are those that have said that it tends to pull calcium from the water so alot of growth may be problematic in a reef

if you want to remove it its easy enough to do, just pull it out, they don't like being pruned so the ruits will just die off unlike other types of algaes

Ok, thanks. I guess I'll keep it around for awhile and I'll contact you by email when I have a chance to trim some of it down.
