I would keep an eye out for more FW..... You blew them off the rock but did you get them out of the tank? They will be back unless you get every last one of them. Good luck getting rid of them.

This sucks! I blew off all the Flatworms last night, and this morning the area was covered with them again. The Flatworms must have quite the colony in that piece of LR. Also, the Flatworms I blew off are now all around the rest of the tank. I am calling a few LFSs now looking for Flatworm Exit. I am not having much luck, going to have to order it online and have it overnighted to me so I can take care of this

Very true. Luckily I have no fish in the tank so I should be able to deal with this without any major losses. After treatment, I am going to get a couple more pieces of LR to help reseed and small inverts that may have died off.

One thing that really ticks me off about this is one LFS has Red Flatworms ALL OVER in their display tanks. I was assured they were harmless and actually good for the tank. Had I known what these were, I would not have purchased LR there The LFS was Pet Quarters, I should have known better...

The clear/white flatworms are ok not the rust/red. Here is another story of a LFS giving bad advice. My friends have used FW exit and have not had and ill effects to there tanks. Corals, fish clauerpa all ok. Just remember that you need to syphon out the dead flatworms asap. If you have any seaslugs, seahares get them out it will kill them...
