I've just been looking at chemi pure elite on marine depot.

It says in the benefits that "NO WATER CHANGE NECESSARY"

Link: Boyd Chemi Pure Elite

Does this mean that you never have to make another water change or am I mistaken?

Surely this cannot be right?

Can someone please explain...

I wouldn't believe it I use chemipure but I still do water changes

LOl..try not changing any water for 5 years and let me know how many fish and inverts you end up killing.

I know mr X, they even say they have tested it up to 5 years and it worked!

Probably true if you over use the amount recommended. Ex. 10 bags in 29 gallon tank

I think five years is pushing it but I could see a year. Its Gfo and gac. If your controlling your nitrates and have an ato, I could see a year. But I would be testing a lot. And replacing the chemo pure as testing showed necessary.

Yeah I think I'm going to be buy it, but I will still do my 15% weekly water change
