Life!

Ok perhaps I've taken the 'go slow' attitude a bit too far. Today after some prodding from Neilan, I decided it was time to go to the lfs and find some vertebrate life forms for this tank. Nothing fancy, 3 blue/green chromis and a pair of peppermint shrimp. Everybody is hiding and may continue to do so for a while. I'll get some pics up later this weekend.

The fish seem to have found each other again and seem to be doing well. Lots of energy as they chase every pod or bit of something that gets jetted across the tank by the current.

The shrimp say you will just have to take my word for it. They are somewhere in the lr, out of sight.

There is nothing new in the tank since last update but the fish and the shrimp. I have the urge to invest in some more corals so that may be next.

Here are some pics. (you can also see the whole album at: sparky697_photo/Reef Tank - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
)

Looks good, corals are growing well it seems.

It must be weird to have movement in your tank, considering it's been almost a year since you started and this is the first.

How did I miss this thread until now?

Great job Sparky. The patience (your own, not others) has obviously paid off

Thanks marchmaxima.

We pretty much just ignore Neilan around here.
