Well I did it tonight..switched mt cc over to a DSB of 5inches...Now the only question is..when does the cloudiness go away? and when I preform partials do I or don't I plunge..I'm thinking not..but thought I'd ask anyway to be sure...Also does anyone know where I can get some little critters for my sandbed? Thanks!

when does the cloudiness go away?

A few hours to a day or two. If you changed out the entire bed then monitor your ammonia levels closely over the next week and do partial water changes when ammonia is detected above lets say 0.02.

Also does anyone know where I can get some little critters for my sandbed?

I got one from each and was more impressed with Inland Aquatics. Also, ask someone else with an established tank if you can have a cup of their sand.
