OldCastle/YardRight/SouthDown
Tropical Play Sand
Aragonite Sand

All the same exact thing.

SKU # 578-819
UPC # 0-210026-16865-5
UPC # 0-9060420101-9
Model # 420-100

Amusingly, Carib-Sea's sand is also the exact same thing, and they have a non-compete agreement which is why the "play sand" says "not for aquarium use".

Hopefully it is the same thing otherwise I may be in for trouble. I found it in a blue bag labeled Southdown Tropical Playsand.

I've seen sites where people actually posted pictures of the bag (not sure if it was AA or not).

My brother wasted a couple of bags filling in around his walkway pavers. He's got a few bags left and I made him go back to HD and get the quickcrete stuff for the pavers. He's clearing out some shed space for me so we can stock up on the good stuff (Southdown and Yardright) that's still in stock.

Copi, Answered your pm.

For the rest of you... Edison almost always has some in stock. The 2 Bridgewater stores have some (until I buy out their stock )

Bridgewater, NJ on 202 had about 1/2 pallet today. When I first asked, I was directed to the section with concrete, etc.. The play sand in that area is, of course, the wrong one. I was told this was all they had by 2 salespeople. The third clerk I spoke with directed me to the proper section, outside in the gardening area.

Gosh you people are so lucky.... is there any way they would get that shipped to a louisiana HD ya think? Also, if one of you go up there again - could you ask them where they are getting this stuff from? Many are saying that they can't get it anymore - but yet people are saying HDs are still getting it by the pallet

they might be old supplies they had. the hd I went to looked like the sand hadn't been touched in forever.

i keep hearing conflicting rumors about it not being carried anymore. i think hd just likes to mess with people and makes up their own little stories about it.
