Jawfish

I was thinking about buying a jawfish but was concerned with its hardiness. Can anyone shed light on the this with experiences or any other knowledge? Also, about how many inches of sand to I need for the jawfish? TIA.

I loved mine and it was a very hardy little fish.

I agree with Hara..
The only problem I really had with my two is when I'd disturb the sand bed near em to do tank maintenance... sometimes they get a little freaked out and may try and jump outta the tank... was pretty rare..
super cool little fish... kinda remind me of the old guy screamin at the kids to get off his lawn tho (they get a little cranky of other things coming near them)

Thanks for the help but how many inches do they need for a decent burrow (I have about 1 1/2 inches now).

They recommend 4 inches, but I think 3 should be fine.
