Any opinions on Jebo aquariums? I can buy a 40 gallon kit for $400 or a 55 gallon kit for $500. The kit includes the aquarium, hood, light, filter, and stand. The filter is the wet/dry type and is built into the hood. The aquarium is glass and there is a one-year warranty against leaks. Does this sound like a good deal?

I would pass on the in-hood filtration for a sw tank, it isn't going to work very well. You should be able to put together a pretty decent 55 with dsb filtration and decent lighting for under $500, and it will be more versatile and upgradeable.

Not at all, and IMO a in hood filter would be a real PITA. I.E. how are you going to upgrade the lighting? Shop around, below he has a new 75 with stand and light for just over $300! Now if your lfs offered you the same deal, you could get more than what is offered you for $500 / 55g.
