Just how loud are pistol shrimp?

I'm thinking about getting a pistol shrimp to go in my tank. I already have yellow watchman goby that I hope it might pair up with. I've never heard one snap so I'm interested in just how loud it is and how frequently do they usually snap.

I have two. just snap your fingers and you will get a good idea of how loud it is.

I have one and it is pretty loud. Louder then I can snap.

Mine are louder than snapping your fingers as well, not loud enough to bother me but it is loud.

I can hear mine on the other end of the house....with the dishwasher running. Ofcourse...mine shrimp is a mutant.
